The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maxiq waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Cross.
Cross pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Maxiq lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Maxiq throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cross stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Cross rushes Maxiq and presses him up against the cage.
Maxiq takes a shot to the head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Maxiq creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Cross throws an elbow but it misses.
Maxiq is pressed up against the cage. Cross has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Maxiq down to the mat. Maxiq avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Silvean Maxiq seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maxiq scores with a hook to the body. Cross takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Maxiq takes a swing at Cross's ribcage but misses.
Cross will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Maxiq bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cross's head backwards.

It looks like Jacob Israel Cross has been cut.

Maxiq wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Oh Cross is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cross shoots for a takedown but Maxiq saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Cross lands a jab to the head.
Cross seems to have got his legs back now.
Cross wants to clinch up but Maxiq keeps it at a distance.

Maxiq cracks Cross with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Maxiq has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cross to stand back up!

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Maxiq moves in close and cracks Cross with a massive right hand! Cross, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Maxiq!

Dorsey stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dorsey wants it to stay on the feet.
Ramon shoots in for a takedown but Dorsey shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Ramon fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dorsey to the ground. Ramon is now in Dorsey's guard.

Davis gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Freeman gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Davis is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
