The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Legere tries to clinch
and Paguandas counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Legere rushes Paguandas and presses him up against the cage.
Legere is trying to push Paguandas away but Paguandas has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Paguandas is trying to drag Legere to the mat but Legere just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Paguandas avoiding damage as Legere throws knees to the body.
Legere tries for a takedown but Paguandas manages to get underhooks.
Paguandas has Legere pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Legere manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Paguandas creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Steiner has left one of his arms exposed and Richard doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Steiner screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wolfe shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Clark's guard.
Wolfe looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Clark is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Clark manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wolfe manages to get himself to full guard.

Clark stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wolfe swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wolfe is working an open guard so Clark takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Rusheed Clark will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Clark has Wolfe up against the cage in a clinch.

Clark pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Clark looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Wolfe fails with a takedown attempt.
Clark throws a shot to the body.

Clark is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Clark lands a couple of decent looking shots.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rusheed Clark.
Clark connects with a body shot that sends Wolfe's belly button to the back.

Clark clinches.

Clark breaks from the clinch.
Wolfe takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Clark rushes Wolfe and presses him up against the cage.
Wolfe drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Clark gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Clark jumps guard and drags Wolfe to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Wolfe's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Clark knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wolfe on the ground.
Clark pulls Wolfe in close to his closed guard and prevents Wolfe from doing any damage or advancing position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wolfe drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Wolfe seems to have locked his on tight now - Clark screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Wolfe, as he picks up the win!
