Palluza has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Animai shoots in for a double leg but Thug sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Animai tries to clinch there but Thug circles away.
The fighters circle momentarily. Thug darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Thug scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Animai has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Thug stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Thug wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vanapa Animai. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oh Animai is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thug walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Animai drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Thug swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Animai's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
