The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lacroix lands a nice shot that snaps Bob's head back.
Bob fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lacroix lands a right hook to the body.
Lacroix lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Bob closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lacroix circles away.
The crowd cheers as Lacroix lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bob doesn't seem phased though.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Lacroix cracks Bob with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Lacroix has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bob to stand back up!

Bob is rocked!
Bob is breathing heavily.
Bob shoots for a double leg takedown but Lacroix sprawls well. He's pushed Bob's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for billy Bob. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lacroix sends Bob crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Lacroix is motioning to the referee to let Bob up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Bob is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A shot to de liver by Lacroix. Beautiful body shot.
Bob seems to have got his legs back now.
Lacroix fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Bob square on the jaw! Damn, Bob is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

Rodalgo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Intervention working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rodalgo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rodalgo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Intervention looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Rodalgo puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Rodalgo is taking a breather. Intervention says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

That was a close second round but I would say that Michel Rodalgo will probably get the nod.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Starks connects with a nice short shot to Ruhmann's temple.

Mikkel Ruhmann's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
