The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kakashi misses with a two punch combination.

Bate throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kakashi was covering up waiting for the punch and Bate finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Bate is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Bate postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bate trying to control but Kakashi is working from the bottom.
Bate working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kakashi's head.
Bate forces his way into half guard.

Kakashi throws his legs up looking for a submission but Bate uses it to pass to side control.

Bate has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Kakashi to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Bate is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Kakashi pulls down on the head and he's put Bate to sleep! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Numazawa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mendoza was well out of range. Poor timing from Numazawa.
Mendoza throws a series of punches but Numazawa avoids them all with ease.
Mendoza swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The crowd cheers as Mendoza lands an impressive looking overhand right. Numazawa doesn't seem phased though.
Mendoza cracks Numazawa with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Sudo has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Wilkins.

Sudo clinches up with Wilkins and pushes him back against the cage.
Wilkins is trying to drag Sudo to the mat but Sudo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
