The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaauwendraat misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sansing has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Blaauwendraat.
Blaauwendraat uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sansing.
Sansing displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Blaauwendraat.
Blaauwendraat looks to land a combination. Sansing sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Sansing dodges the punch combination from Blaauwendraat.
Blaauwendraat swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Sansing drops back looking for a leg! Blaauwendraat is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Blaauwendraat manages to kick Sansing off! Sansing jumps back into Blaauwendraat's guard.

Blaauwendraat has momentary wrist control but Sansing slips an elbow through the middle.

Blaauwendraat really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sansing. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sansing's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sansing postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Blaauwendraat badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Sansing around the waist but Sansing pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Sansing is the winner by TKO! Sansing jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

A very excited looking Alan Sansing rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Adam displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from jr.
jr changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Adam tries to avoid it but jr manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Adam to the ground. Adam escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
jr could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
jr defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Adam.
jr takes a swing at Adam's ribcage but misses.
jr shoots in but Adam avoids the takedown attempt easily.
