The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ardonia throws a right hand that Shanks ducks under and follows up with a left that Shanks also avoids with ease.
Shanks tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but ardonia paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Shanks shoots in but no luck this time.
Edward Shanks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shanks pivots, looking for a leg kick but ardonia is out of range and Shanks settles back down.
Shanks takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Shanks fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. ardonia sprawls well initially but Shanks persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

It looks like Hanley Oakley has been cut.

Walker wants to clinch up but Oakley keeps it at a distance.

Walker changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Oakley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

McClusky throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

McClusky tries to circle away but Bernhardt has him pinned against the cage.

McClusky breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

McClusky drops Bernhardt with a beautiful combination! Bernhardt stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - McClusky is looking for the KO!

It looks like Corey Bernhardt has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McClusky misses with a double jab
and Bernhardt connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
McClusky connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Bernhardt tumbling to the canvas! McClusky pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Bernhardt was done - good stoppage!
