The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goldman lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Preston fails with a takedown attempt.
Preston looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Goldman is fending him off so far but Preston persists. Nope, Goldman circles away and we're back to standing.
Goldman scores with the left hand. Preston knows he should have avoided that one.
Preston changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Goldman tries to avoid it but Preston manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Goldman to the ground. Goldman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sol Goldman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dean Preston .
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Preston fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Preston looks winded!
Preston fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Goldman avoids it really well and circles away.
Goldman cracks Preston with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Preston tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Goldman pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Preston is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schkayle tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Hinch is able to avoid easily.
Hinch blocks a head kick by Schkayle.
Decent striking displayed by Schkayle there.
Schkayle fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hinch has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Crunch! Schkayle slams his shin into Hinch's torso.
Hinch fails in his attempt to clinch.
A bone on bone clash there as Hinch blocks the leg kick.
Schkayle with a hook.
Schkayle turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Schkayle avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Schkayle stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Hinch shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Schkayle sprawls well. Schkayle wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hinch gets slowly back to his feet.

Richtor Schkayle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Schkayle bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Turner wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Turner tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Korpisuo was well out of range. Poor timing from Turner.
Turner stuffs the takedown attempt from Korpisuo. Korpisuo gets slowly back to his feet.

Korpisuo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Turner sprawls well initially but Korpisuo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Korpisuo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Turner's head.

Risto Korpisuo is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Risto Korpisuo has got the better of the ground game so far.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ike Turner.
