Carson BB seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Caskey does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Pablo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Thompson is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. DeCola is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. DeCola flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Thompson anticipates the leg and manages to get behind DeCola and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Thompson slips an arm under DeCola chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Thompson has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Thompson is squeezing on DeCola like an anaconda would it's prey. DeCola fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
