The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turpa thuds his shin into the meat of Burns's side.
A big left from Burns misses.
Turpa throws a head kick that Burns semi-blocks.
Turpa misses with a takedown

and Burns decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Turpa's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Burns lands a couple of elbows.
Burns definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Burns with a nice head shot there.

Burns has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Burns drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Turpa dives on top into guard.

Burns has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Turpa doesn't defend quickly enough and Burns has managed to lock this one up! Can Turpa escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Burns on a fantastic submission victory.

Haigh on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Baginski looks for a takedown but Haigh sprawls well.
Baginski displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Haigh throws out the jab.

Haigh has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Baginski should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Haigh has tightened it up now! Baginski should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
