The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greene cracks O Hara with an open hand slap.
O Hara has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from O Hara there as he acknowledges the shot.
Greene lands with a shot to the body.
A shot to the liver by O Hara. Beautiful body shot.
Greene throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck O Hara on the side of the head.
O Hara throws a head kick that misses.
Greene throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Greene lands a jab to the nose.
Greene tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but O Hara was well out of range. Poor timing from Greene.
Greene throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent O Hara stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Greene tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and O Hara is able to avoid easily.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cross's jab looks to have found its range, popping Volkov under the eye.
Volkov looks for a takedown but Cross sprawls well.
Volkov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cross sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Volkov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cross's waist but Cross gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Volkov off to one side.
Jacob Israel Cross has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Volkov.
Volkov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cross as he avoids it easily.
Volkov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cross avoids it really well and circles away.

Cross darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Volkov gets back to full guard.

Volkov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cross gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cross throws an elbow that misses. Volkov uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cross's guard. Nice move by Volkov!

Volkov has gone for a leg lock! Cross slips out almost immediately though and dives into Volkov's guard.

Cross is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Cross knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Volkov on the ground.

Volkov has his foot on Cross's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cross works his way back into a safe position though.

Volkov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cross doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Volkov is tightening it up a little... Cross has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Cross reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Cross taps out! Nice BJJ there by Volkov!
