Diaz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

After the fight, Nigel Diaz was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silva.
Teravainen digs a good body shot into Silva's ribs.
Antonio Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Teravainen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Teravainen slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Teravainen connects with a body shot that sends Silva's belly button to the back.
Silva shoots for a takedown but Teravainen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Antonio Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Teravainen lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Teravainen.

It looks like Antonio Silva has been cut.
Teravainen's coach down at Island Top Team was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Teravainen's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Silva shoots in and drives through. Teravainen sprawls well.
Silva walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Teravainen lands with a right and another and another! Silva is in big trouble! Teravainen lands again and this time it's lights out for Silva! A quality knockout there for Teravainen.

A very excited looking Teuvo Teravainen rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
