Potter has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Mastain after a bit of a struggle.
Mastain is pressed up against the cage. Potter has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mastain down to the mat. Mastain avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Potter looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
OH! Potter has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Mastain smells blood and charges in for the finish! Mastain unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Potter sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Dave Mastain decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Simmons has his foot on Tyson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tyson works his way back into a safe position though.

John Simmons overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John Simmons.
