Overeem displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rook.
Rook dives in and grabs Overeem's left leg, looking for a takedown. Overeem pushes down on Rook's head and hops out.
Overeem scores with a kick to the midsection.

Overeem lands a big head kick that sends Rook tumbling to the mat! Overeem takes a step backwards and waves Rook back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Yuri Rook has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Overeem is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Rook flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Rook is out cold! Overeem holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Arai throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

James Holmes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Arai throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Holmes was covering up waiting for the punch and Arai finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Grant comes to the cage accompanied by United States of America's National Anthem. Bomb is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Limp Bizkit - Nookie. Jeggu Bomb struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. This should be fireworks!
