The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Friendly shoots in for a takedown but Tarvainen shows good takedown defense.
Friendly throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Tarvainen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like George Friendly has been cut.
Friendly dips to his left and cracks Tarvainen with an uppercut!
Friendly changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tarvainen tries to avoid it but Friendly manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tarvainen to the ground. Tarvainen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Cheeseman lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Cheeseman throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Jon slips a jab and a cross from Cheeseman.
Jon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jon on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Jon throws a push kick but Cheeseman slaps the foot to one side.
Jon has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jon there as he acknowledges the shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jon is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Cheeseman moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
