The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Abulbul jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Al Abulbul uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Giovanni.
Giovanni swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Al Abulbul throws a hook to the side of Giovanni's head but Giovanni sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Al Abulbul looks to score with a jab to the body but Giovanni is just out of range.
Al Abulbul shoots for a takedown but Giovanni saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Giovanni stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Giovanni wants it to stay on the feet.
No luck for Al Abulbul with that takedown attempt.

Winner throws a right hand that Two ducks under and follows up with a left that Two also avoids with ease.

and Winner counters with a series of strikes. Two will be more careful next time no doubt.

Winner fails to land with a series of punches.

Winner comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Two on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Winner lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Tournament Winner decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
