The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Scuderi.
Pierluigi Scuderi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Disgracie shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Disgracie showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Sung shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sung showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Sung looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Souza could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sung has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sung controlling the pace for now.
Sung avoids the attempt from Souza to control.
Sung takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Lamel looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Jameison has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lamel finds it's way round the side to connect with Jameison's head.

Lamel lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Jones can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
