Daniels comes to the cage accompanied by Tiny Dancer-Elton John. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Thornton shoots in looking for a takedown but Daniels manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Thornton's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Dots Raining Pain had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bandridge connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Hoench covering up! Bandridge comes in with a big uppercut and Hoench goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

Brad Bandridge opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
In defeat, Daniel Hoench stepped up to the mic, saying 'Well...that sucks. Ill be back a better fighter. Go Jesus'.
