Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins slaps away a takedown attempt from Banner, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jenkins looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A clash of legs there as Banner blocks the low kick.
Jenkins tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Banner stuns Jenkins with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jimbo Jenkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Banner misses with a two punch combination.

Banner seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jenkins does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jenkins stuffs the takedown.
Jenkins pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Jenkins looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Jenkins throws a low kick but Banner moves out of range easily.

Banner shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Banner showed some decent athleticism there.
Banner is trying to control. Jenkins wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Banner moves into full mount! Jenkins won't be happy about that!

Jenkins is in a horrible position here. Banner smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Banner unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Jenkins wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Banner celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
