The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

James rushes Manninen and presses him up against the cage.
James will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Manninen up against the cage.
James definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
James with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

It looks like Anssi Manninen has been cut.
James gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Manninen manages to pull guard.

A very excited looking Caliph James rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Morgan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Morgan looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Halo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Halo drops Morgan with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Morgan looks back up at him and smiles so Halo waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Halo is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Morgan flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Morgan is out cold! Halo holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hugo Smith.
