Maure throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Butts sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Butts moves out of range of the strikes.
Maure cracks Butts with an open hand slap.

Butts looks to score with a jab to the body but Maure is just out of range.
Maure swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dan Maure seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A very excited looking Philmore Butts rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

On his way into the cage it seems that Roy Mustang has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Roy Mustang seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Macgregor has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
