I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kamala Naamahaara was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Jong Un manages to work his way to half guard, despite Naamahaara's best efforts.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Naamahaara working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Jong Un has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Naamahaara should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Jong Un has tightened it up now! Naamahaara should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

It looks like Very Magnum has been cut.
Skalinskas's coach down at The Iron Palace was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Skalinskas's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Magnum takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Skalinskas clinches up with Magnum and pushes him back against the cage.

Skalinskas escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Magnum gets caught flat footed, as Skalinskas shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Skalinskas has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Magnum is proving hard to escape from.

The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Skalinskas, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faria leaves Sichev with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Faria uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sichev.
Sichev tries to bum rush Faria with a series of wild strikes but Faria uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sichev tries for a takedown but Faria sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Sichev fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Abbe Faria has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yuri Sichev.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sichev is defended easily by Faria.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sichev.
No joy there for Sichev, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sichev is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Sichev dives in and grabs Faria's left leg, looking for a takedown. Faria pushes down on Sichev's head and hops out.

Faria lands a big elbow - Sichev is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Faria!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slammer on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Siblas throws an overhand right that lands on Slammer's shoulder, as Slammer tries to avoid the shot.

Siblas gets a clinch.
Siblas throws a head punch that misses.

Slammer has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Siblas clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Slammer looking to finish the fight with a rear naked choke. Siblas is controlling Slammer 's left arm and he spins nicely into guard.

Slammer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Leather Slammer will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Siblas looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Siblas throws a wild body kick that Slammer sees coming a mile off.

and Siblas counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Slammer shoots in for a double leg but Siblas sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leather Slammer. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Slammer closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Siblas and Slammer are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Siblas throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Slammer into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Siblas knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Tony Siblas!

After winning the bout, Tony Siblas thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
