A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Calzaghe throws a head kick but Zordick moves out of range.
Calzaghe cracks Zordick with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Zordick shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Zordick was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Zordick is trying to get an arm triangle but Calzaghe is defending well.
Calzaghe tries to improve position but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Calzaghe throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
Zordick has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Calzaghe!
Calzaghe swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Zordick can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Calzaghe is looking to escape.
BOOM! Zordick connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Repomies as he connects with a hook.
Dengel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Repomies uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dengel.
Dengel closes this distance looking for a takedown but Repomies circles away.

Repomies is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dengel is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Dengel wants to control but Repomies postures up.
Repomies lands some shots froms side control.
Repomies postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Repomies wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dengel keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Repomies is staying active underneath Dengel, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Dengel might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Repomies haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Dengel shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dengel lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Repomies has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Repomies and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Dengel is looking to score with low kicks.
Dengel fails with the takedown.
Repomies uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dengel has time to react.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Repomies! Dengel is out on his feet! Repomies rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Dengel is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Dengel is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rauno Repomies!
