The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marks tries to clinch up.
Marks gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Johnson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Johnson fails with a takedown attempt.
Johnson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Johnson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Johnson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Marks has closed the distance and engaged Johnson in a clinch.

Marks is nestled in close to Johnson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Marks is looking for a kimura but Johnson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Marks to get the leverage.
Johnson looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Marks is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Johnson is just riding it out for now. Marks eventually gives up the hold.
Marks tries to pass the half guard into mount. Johnson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Marks must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Johnson is looking to stand up but Marks isn't so interested in that idea.
Johnson trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Marks working his ground and pound in the gym.

Marks trying to control the position from guard on top but Johnson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

I would just about give that final round to Cain Marks.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baxter tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rhea defends well and Baxter ends up having to push Rhea into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Baxter drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rhea gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Rhea feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
