The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waddy dives in and grabs Pieru's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pieru pushes down on Waddy's head and hops out.
No luck for Waddy with that takedown attempt.
Waddy gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Waddy closes the distance and clinches up with Pieru, looking for a takedown. Waddy pushes Pieru against the cage but Pieru circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Yrjo Pieru has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tam Tam Waddy.

Pieru lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Pieru celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
