Matias fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

It looks like Genghis Khan has been cut.
Matias tries to close the distance and clinch up but Khan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Matias takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

It looks like Leighton Matias has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Khan missing with a left hand there. Matias was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Matias tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Khan counters with an outside leg kick.
Khan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Matias.

and Khan makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Matias throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Matias tries to clinch but Khan moves away
and Khan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Matias tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Khan makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Matias really felt that one!

Matias takes one to the chin there.
Khan scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Matias wants to clinch

and Khan counters with a crisp right hand that drops Matias! Khan lets Matias back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
