The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chaos gets a double leg takedown into Olivero's guard.
Olivero is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Chaos is controlling him.
Chaos pushes down on Olivero's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Well, if Chaos is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Chaos stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Olivero to get to his feet.
Olivero lands with an overhand left.

Olivero lands a big head kick that sends Chaos tumbling to the mat! Olivero takes a step backwards and waves Chaos back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Oh Chaos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Chaos is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Olivero rolls with it to try and escape but Chaos cranks on the arm and Olivero is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell throws a low kick but it's checked well by Lin.
Mitchell takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Mitchell misses with a wild combination.
Mitchell on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Mitchell throws a half hearted mid kick.
Mitchell tries a head kick but it misses.

and Lin counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Lin connects with a nice cross there... Mitchell is looking wobbly and Lin recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Mitchell to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Lin jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ping Lin!
Ping Lin opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.

Sambo fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Potter to the ground. Sambo is now in Potter's guard.
Sambo is fighting to break Potter's control of his arms but Potter is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Potter definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Sambo prevents Potter from improving his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sambo is trying to control the action in half guard but Potter is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Potter drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sambo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sambo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sambo!

Sambo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sambo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Sambo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Potter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ben Potter.
Well Sambo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
