Bob throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Koba on the side of the head.

Bob finds Koba's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Koba flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Bob lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Koba will be OK.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mabogo lands a big head kick that sends Banner tumbling to the mat! Mabogo takes a step backwards and waves Banner back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Lamont Banner has been cut.
Mabogo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Banner has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Lamont Banner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cain Velasquez will probably get the nod.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Boykiy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Boykiy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cropp circles away quickly and effectively.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boykiy throws a body kick that misses.
Boykiy fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cropp on the side of the head.
Cropp displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Boykiy throws out the jab.
Boykiy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cropp moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Karol Cropp is winning the standup battle so far.
No joy there for Cropp, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Cropp throws a left that rocks Boykiy and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Cropp dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Boykiy regain composure!

Cropp has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Boykiy!
Boykiy is still in real trouble! Can Cropp finish him?
Cropp cracks Boykiy with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

After the fight, Karol Cropp was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
