Snow swinging wildly here.

Snow uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gor has time to react.

Koistinen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Alvarez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Koistinen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Alvarez.

and Koistinen counters with a good low kick that Alvarez was not able to check.
Koistinen lunges at Alvarez with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Alvarez's hand.
Koistinen stalks Alvarez and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Alvarez's face. Alvarez staggers backwards, shaken.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Alvarez shoots in looking for a takedown but Koistinen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Alvarez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Housey closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Housey in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Payne manages to get back to half guard.
Housey throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Payne is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Housey pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
