The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaze dips to his left and cracks Kokkalis with an uppercut!
Kokkalis closes the distance and clinches up with Blaze, looking for a takedown. Kokkalis pushes Blaze against the cage but Blaze circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kokkalis misses with a low kick as Blaze jumps back.
Kokkalis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kokkalis takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kokkalis throws a front kick aimed at Blaze's knee but Blaze avoids it well.
Kokkalis misses the body punch
and Blaze counters with a nice body shot.
Kokkalis misses with a low kick.
Kokkalis lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Blaze lands a big head kick that sends Kokkalis tumbling to the mat! Blaze takes a step backwards and waves Kokkalis back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Blaze drops Kokkalis with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kokkalis looks back up at him and smiles so Blaze waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Kokkalis gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

and Blaze counters with a nice right hand that sends Kokkalis toppling to the canvas! Kokkalis scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Blaze finish him?!

Cabreros's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Love is what i got. Pummel is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: renegades. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Cabreros has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Cabreros will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Pummel has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cabreros crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pummel - the referee stops the clock and Cabreros gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pummel. Cabreros manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Riggs sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Rodalgo's guard.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Player in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

That was a close second round but I would say that Yang Tao will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
