Aazbong throws a jab but it's blocked by Pillow.
Aazbong ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Pillow throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice takedown defense from Aazbong. No joy for Pillow on that attempt.
Aazbong scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Pillow will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Gomes closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Perez did well to prevent Gomes getting side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Perez looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Perez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Gomes has got one arm under Perez's chin. This could be trouble... Perez trying to control the other hand but Gomes gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Perez has tapped out! The fight is over!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jacob Luken.
