I think Loko might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to marry yourdaughter. Mendez has chosen Trap Door as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loko throws a right and a left that both miss.
Loko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mendez.
Loko looks to score with a jab to the body but Mendez is just out of range.
Loko bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mendez's head.
Loko scores with a head kick. Mendez tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Loko throws a low kick but it's checked well by Mendez.

Oh but Loko is tightening it up a little... Mendez has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Mendez reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Mendez taps out! Nice BJJ there by Loko!

Lotus closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Channell goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Lotus has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Channell but great work by Lotus.

Lotus has hold of Channell's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Channell tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Lotus cranks the arm and Channell screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Channell, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
