Poulain throws a leg kick which misses Crowe's front leg but catches the back leg as Crowe tries to avoid it.
Poulain takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Crowe throws an overhand right that lands on Poulain's shoulder, as Poulain tries to avoid the shot.

and Poulain counters with a shoot takedown. Crowe fights it but they end up in guard.

Poulain shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Crowe sprawls well. Crowe wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Poulain gets slowly back to his feet.
Crowe has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Poulain takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Crowe throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Poulain on the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rodger Crowe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Amelie Poulain has been cut.
Poulain drops his hands for a split second and Crowe immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Poulain face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Crowe follows up with a right hand that knocks Poulain into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
