Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Kreese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nico Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kreese might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to 'Sweep The Leg, Johnny' by No More Kings. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kreese gets tackled into the cage by Vega. Vega maintains the clinch.
Vega is pressed up against the cage. Kreese has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Vega down to the mat. Vega avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Vega dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kreese. That did some damage!
Vega throws a low kick but Kreese moves out of range easily.
Kreese has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Vega.
Kreese throws the left hand but Vega avoids the punch easily.
Kreese checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
We've been hearing reports that Kreese has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Vega's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Vega motions for Kreese to come forward. Vega throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kreese lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Vega has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Vega and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Kreese feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Vega really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kreese. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Del Norte kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is La Coka Nostra - Malverde Market. Antifanz Del Norte had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Del Norte throws a series of punches but Stone avoids them all with ease.

Stone changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Del Norte looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Del Norte wants to get back to his feet but Stone drags him back down.
Del Norte takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Del Norte is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Stone asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Stone lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Del Norte down.

Stone is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Del Norte is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Stone postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Richard Callaghan.
