These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Machete closes the distance and clinches up with Beloff, looking for a takedown. Machete pushes Beloff against the cage but Beloff circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Vengeance jerks Loire's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Loire drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Vengeance goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Vengeance because Loire was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Hell is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Kido is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hell's shoulder. That is not cool.

Hell is not content to let Kido control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Osamu Kido hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Horrible takedown attempt by Kido or perhaps it was just good defense by Hell, which made it look bad.
Raise Hell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hell misses with a low kick.
Hell bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kido's head backwards.

Kido displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hell throws out the jab.
Hell misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nice sprawl there from Hell as Kido shoots in.
Hell slaps away a takedown attempt from Kido, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Raise Hell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Osamu Kido.

That kick from Hell tenderised Kido's leg. Kido is trying to keep his angry face on.
Hell ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Kido is trying to break the clinch but Hell is controlling him.

Kido goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hell prevents it.

Hell trying to control but Kido is working from the bottom.

Kido tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Kido has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hell can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Eluard's coach down at Turka Elite Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Eluard's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
