Barnett rushes Freeman and presses him up against the cage.

Freeman feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Barnetts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Freeman looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Freeman tries to bum rush Barnett with a series of wild strikes but Barnett uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Valdez feints and as Marshall raises his hands in defense, Valdez changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Valdez sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Marshall's guard.
Marshall wants to get back to his feet.
Marshall really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Valdez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Valdez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Marshall keeps working.
Marshall looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Brooklyn Brawler is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Brawler feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Richardss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Richards might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Brawler has got the better of the exchanges.

Richards takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Brawler lands a glancing blow to the side of Richards's head.
Brawler stalks Richards and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Richards's face. Richards staggers backwards, shaken.

Richards is rocked!
Brawler gets in close and tags Richards with a short punch that almost sends Richards to the mat! Oh Richards is in big trouble! He turns his back on Brawler, trying to create some distance but Brawler rushes him, striking wildly and Richards goes down! The referee tackles Brawler into the cage to end the fight! Brawler is one violent man!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ee misses with a head kick.
Ee swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A telegraphed right hand from Abbot misses the target.
Ee swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Abbot punishes Ee's body with a nice straight punch.
Abbot jabs Ee to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Abbot connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ee momentarily.

It looks like Eeazy Ee has been cut.
Eeazy Ee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ee misses with a body shot.
Ee has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Abbot finds it's way round the side to connect with Ee's head.
Abbot ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Abbot cracks a nice hook into Ee's ribs.
Abbot connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ee momentarily.

Ee closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Ee throws a lazy right hand but Abbot sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Abbot jabs Ee to the body, keeping him at a distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Abbot drops his shoulder and cracks Ee with a huge uppercut! Ee goes down! Can Abbot finish him?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dellal throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Maximus tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dellal is in Maximus's guard.

Maximus is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dellal is aware though and is defending well.

Maximus has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dellal can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Dellal wants to control from the top but Maximus keeps moving.
Dellal must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Dellal passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Dellal drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Maximus manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dellal has Maximus in his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Maximus stands and throws Dellal's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Dellal is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Maximus's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Maximus is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dellal doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Maximus.

Dellal shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Maximus is trying to defend but Dellal finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Dellal seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Maximus does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Koni Maximus overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Maximus has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dellal is working away from the top position though.

Dellal is trying for a kimura here. Maximus looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Dellal wins by kimura!
