The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nugget stuffs the takedown attempt from Riddle. Riddle gets slowly back to his feet.
Riddle shoots in looking for a takedown. Nugget tries to sprawl out of it but Riddle keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nugget manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Riddle looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nugget looks to land a combination but Riddle avoids it well.
Riddle throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nugget throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Riddle stumbling backwards into the cage! Riddle bounces back off the cage towards Nugget, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Nugget lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Nugget celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Drebin can do anything to dispel that myth.

Child is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Drebin throws a series of punches but Child avoids them all with ease.
Child throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Drebin looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Child works his way to full guard. Good work.
Drebin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Drebin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Child is breathing heavily.
Child is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Child working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Drebin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Drebin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Drebin is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Drebin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Child. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Child had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Drebin is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Child Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Drebin's back instead.

Child sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Drebin taps out!
