Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between German Shephard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arvel Garnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shephard comes to the cage accompanied by K9 Justice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garnett takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Shephard lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Shephard attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Garnett throws a hook to the side of Shephard's head but Shephard sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Shephard moves out of range of the strikes.
Shephard cracks Garnett with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Garnett looks to score with a jab to the body but Shephard is just out of range.
Shephard has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Shephard there as he acknowledges the shot.
Garnett misses the jab.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bobby Bishop.
