and Duffy counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Glen thinking.
Rick Glen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Duffy shoots in looking for a takedown but Glen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Duffy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Glen tries to clinch but Duffy moves out of range.

Glen moves into range and clinches up with Duffy.
Duffy jumps guard but Glen stands there with Duffy around his waist. Duffy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smakov lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Smakov misses with a wild combination.
Hiller dives in for a single leg takedown but Smakov sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Hiller keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Smakov's efforts to push away.

Hiller has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Smakov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

and Greenberg counters with a left and a right that stings Bulk.
Greenberg takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Bulk has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Greenberg has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Bulk tries to get to his feet but Greenberg is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Bulk is in need of a savior and steps in!
