Horrible takedown attempt by GuardaChuva or perhaps it was just good defense by Chernicin, which made it look bad.

GuardaChuva feints and as Chernicin raises his hands in defense, GuardaChuva changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Chernicin avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Chernicin has momentary wrist control but GuardaChuva slips an elbow through the middle.
GuardaChuva working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Chernicin's head.

Chernicin is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
GuardaChuva must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Robledo Puch.
