The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kahuna is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kahuna is trying hard to land a takedown here. Baert sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Baert throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kahuna crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Baert - the referee stops the clock and Kahuna gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Baert. Kahuna manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Baert feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kahuna sprawling to the canvas! Kahuna rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Baert finish him?!

Baert fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Kahuna out cold! Brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Lodewijk Baert!
A very excited looking Lodewijk Baert rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Ojoos rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Frost moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Frost throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ojoos tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Frost is in Ojoos's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

We've been hearing good reports from Ojoos's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
