The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Widow misses with a head kick.

Wagner throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Widow tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wagner is in Widow's guard.
Wagner not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Widow is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Widow is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Shipwreck closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Shipwreck wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by McCartney, who protects the arm well.

Shipwreck has hold of McCartney's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! McCartney tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Shipwreck cranks the arm and McCartney screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from McCartney, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lakay Gilas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stan Fuzz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gilas kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Remember The Name - Fort Minor. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

and Gilas makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Slaughter closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mills to the mat! Mills manages to get full guard.
Slaughter wants to stand and escape but instead Mills has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Mills is looking to pass into half guard but Slaughter pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Slaughter is in guard.
