The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nacine dives in and grabs Rape's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rape pushes down on Nacine's head and hops out.

Rape closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Nacine did well to prevent Rape getting side control.
Nacine avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rape.
Nacine blocking the ground and pound attempt from Rape.
Rape throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Nacine is trying to get back to full guard.
Rape looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Rape throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Rape lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Rape looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nacine with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Rape is looking to take a break and control but Nacine is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Rape working over Nacine with some ground and pound. Nacine looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Nacine wants to improve his position but Rape is controlling well.

Rape is looking for a kimura but Nacine is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rape to get the leverage.

Rape has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Tōshi. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Rape wants to free his trapped foot but Nacine is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Rape lands a big elbow - Nacine is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Rape!

Ming shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ming showed some decent athleticism there.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Ming seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Goodman makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Goodman.

Goodman is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Ming rolls with it to try and escape but Goodman cranks on the arm and Ming is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ford misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sloppy strikes from Hill. Those never looked like landing.
Ford has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Ultimate MMA Training Center in the buildup to the fight.
Hill is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ford sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hill jabs at Ford's body.
Hill connects with a looping right hand.
Hill punishes Ford's body with a nice straight punch.
Hill walks into a jab.
Hill shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ford sprawls well. Ford wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hill gets slowly back to his feet.
Ford swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hill.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Ford lands a left and a right that send Hill crashing to the mat, dazed. Ford thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Ron Hill has been cut.

Ford misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hill seems to have recovered his senses.

Hill throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ford's waist but Ford gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hill off to one side.

Gable is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

It looks like Cael Gable has been cut.
Gable lands the left hand.
Takahashi throws a lazy right hand but Gable sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Gable bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Gable tries to advance to mount but can't.
Gable content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Takahashi is trying to control Gable's posture but Gable avoids it.

Possibly an early stoppage but Takahashi doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Cael Gable spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Horrible takedown attempt by Llewellyn or perhaps it was just good defense by Gracie, which made it look bad.

Soto throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Soto needs to keep his hands up - Jay had a free shot at his head there.

Jay forces Soto back against the ropes and clinches.
Soto wants a takedown.

Jay has hold of one of Soto's legs. Soto is fighting the takedown attempt but Jay gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Jay is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Soto is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Jay knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Jay for a finish.

Jay is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Soto off. It looks like it's working - Soto slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Jay displaying calm under pressure there.
Soto tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jay defends well and Soto ends up having to push Jay into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Jay is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Soto doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jay.

Soto has left one of his arms exposed and Jay doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Soto screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
