Mcgee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Lodbrok throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mcgee tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lodbrok is in Mcgee's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Mcgee has momentary wrist control but Lodbrok slips an elbow through the middle.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Mcgee working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

We've been hearing good reports from Lodbrok's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
