We've been told by Bangs's head coaches at Sun Ra and his Arkestra's training camp that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

RS is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Bangs has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bangs has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

We've been hearing good reports from Boyd's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
