The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortega misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Mann shoots in and drives through. Ortega sprawls well.
Mann changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ortega tries to avoid it but Mann manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ortega to the ground. Ortega escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mann misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ortega.
Mann tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ortega manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Trees throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Horrible takedown attempt by Williams or perhaps it was just good defense by Trees, which made it look bad.
Williams fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

We've been told by Williams's head coaches at The GYM (12 elite coaches on the Island) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Williams throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Trees got a little sloppy there for a moment and Williams has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Trees has managed to get both his arms back between Williams's legs - danger averted.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ryan Williams will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Williams shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Trees sprawls well. Trees wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Williams gets slowly back to his feet.
