The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva feints and then cracks Lamond's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lamond down.
Lamond sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Silva looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Silva tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Lamond wants to counter with a clinch but Silva pushes him away.
Silva throws a solid leg kick but Lamond takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Silva.

Silva looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Silva trying to control but Lamond is working from the bottom.

Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lamond swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Silva seems to have locked his on tight now - Lamond screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Silva, as he picks up the win!

Bag quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bag. De Leeuw does a little dance to reset his feet.
