Undercard bout

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leroy Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Musta Surma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Morris might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Clique . I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Musta Surma was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Leroy Morris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Musta Surma!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morris dodges the punch combination from Surma.
The fight stays on the outside here - Surma looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Surma throws a combination. Morris tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Leroy Morris has been cut.
Surma swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Morris isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Surma stacks Morris on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Surma!

Surma creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Morris with a big uppercut! Morris tries to clinch up but Surma pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Morris to the mat! Morris covers up and Surma unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

After the fight, Musta Surma was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Maurice McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arvo Penaali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Penaali's choice of entrance music: Immortal Technique - Obnoxius. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
