The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lodbrok closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Lodbrok is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Risley has escaped the position, nice work there.
Lodbrok is working Risley over with some ground and pound from side control.
Risley takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lodbrok cracks Risley with a big elbow.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lodbrok has an Americana. Risley didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Lodbrok is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Lodbrok hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

My spies in Main Event Gym inform me that McNamara has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Will he stop it?? One more big shot from McNamara and the ref steps in to end the fight! McNamara can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
