That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hamm crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mean - the referee stops the clock and Hamm gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mean. Hamm manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Mean displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Jonh Hamm has been cut.
Mean throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Hamm is looking to clinch but Mean is avoiding it.

Mean looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Mean throws a right hand that Hamm ducks under and follows up with a left that Hamm also avoids with ease.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hamm tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mean swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Jasta rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nikitin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jasta feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Nikitins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Jasta turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Jasta scores with a one two! Nikitin had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Nikitin has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Jasta is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Nikitin yanks on the arm and Jasta is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Nikitin.
